Personal sites
sites i love, not in particular order
— Howsoonisnow?: probably my favourite indie website. it's an absolute work of art, can't imagine how much time went into crafting it. i can't stop playing with those menus
— Everythingkris: very 2000 vibes which i love, reminds me of sites that were popular before facebook. love kris' witty writing and dry humour, staring at her 'Clarice' media review as we speak
— Aliveinside: kinda creepy, but very intruiging. chaotic but it all works together. the art is something else, absolutely amazing. content warning for nudity
— Sweetfish: beautiful minimalistic layout, and lovely art gallery. nothing here feels out of place
— Yotsu: everything i would have loved as a teen, from the colour schemes to the clicking sounds. very cute artwork too!
— MasonArmand: gorgeous digital art, and love the mushroom and plant art on the site as well
— Oopsiedoodle: perfect site for hobby lovers and very pleasing to the eye. i love the vibrant colours and the feeling that i'm in a thrift shop when i browse here.
also, scarily accurate horoscopes
— Cabbagesorter: lovely colour scheme and interesting layout. especially love the organic reviews and ootd's
— Win1999: transport yourself back to windows '99. still don't know how he did this, has an amazing point-and-click. thanks for always checking in :)
— Bondiaries: love to read their reviews, site is very aesthetically pleasing and has cute details. beautiful artwork too!
— Ari: treasure trove of web development! lots of resources, info, technology. ari was a great help when it came to improving my website, thank you!
— Yatagarasu: neat and cute layout, i often visit it if i need style inspiration
— Ribozone: one of the first sites that isnpired me to make my own. careful attention to detail, lots of pages to randomly stumble on, really cool biological and ecological themes
— Cameronsworld: homage to the old web. an artpiece to scroll through, it still boggles my mind sometimes how this was made. the autoplay is also very cute!
Friends
— Reneesbakery: classmate and friend who is a very talented baker. can't wait to see what her site will grow into
— Moocyte: my best friend in life. also the best hurdy-gurdy player i know. very creative, definitely check out his collage art, it will blow your mind
— Mabevillage: amazing artist and dear friend, has a lovely flowy style, super inspirational
