Today:

i'm so busy lately i feel like i barely have time for myself! but this easter weekend... four days :) sooo looking forward to doing NOTHING!!

i had to extend JS&MN by three weeks for a third time. i know it's long (~1000 pages) but man it's wordy. hope i can really make some progress on it this weekend.

today i'm doing my last forest measurements of the month, i enjoy it but i don't mind that we'll be done for the month by tomorrow so i can start collecting isopods to look at under the microscope. i mean, it's lab weather outside. shiver.

to get through the rest of the week i will just remember my chatGPT's appointed motto: I Must Handle Bears. bears are love, bears are life. oh also there is a pair of kingfishers (!!!) near my house. for context i live in the center of Amsterdam do you realize how special this is? new favourite bird. i'll try to get a photo of them. bye for now!
